Nettle Nettle

Nettle helps treat asthma, rheumatisms, high blood sugar, and it is known for its astringent, diuretic properties, as well as helping with breastfeeding issues. Nettle herbal tea is recommended for soothing arthritis, asthma, urinal track infections, bronchitis, gingivitis, nephrolithiasis, laryngitis, sciatica and tendonitis.

It can be applied externally to treat oily hair, dandruff, eczema and mild skin cuts or irritations. Its roots have diuretic properties and it is speculated to help with various prostate problems. It can also be used in products to treat anaemia, menstruation issues, haemorrhoids and various allergy symptoms.

Nettle has many beneficial properties and is widely enjoyed as herbal tea all year around.

To enjoy hot, add some nettle leaves in the filter found in the packaging and place it in a cup. Fill the cup with hot water (approximately 90°C) and then cover the cup and let the tea brew for at least 5-7’. Then remove the filter and enjoy your tea as it is or by adding a sweetener of your choice.

To enjoy cold, repeat the above steps by doubling the amount of tea leaves and adding ice cubes when the tea has finished brewing.
